Nothing like a blitzkrieg of events to kick my ass back into gear for our re-opening weekend!

Saturday and Sunday we will be serving Meatheads in San Pedro for the Target Arts and Wonder Festival. This event is completely FREE, and there is music, family fun, and TASTYMEAT! Read all about it here.

Saturday night, we are really stoked to be one of the lucky trucks providing meals at the Outdoor Cinema Food Festival’s screening of one of my favorite movies of all time, The Big Lebowski!! The event is at Exposition Park, and doors open at 6PM. The Dude abides!

Come get your freak on Monday night at Meltdown Comics for the Scott Pilgrim’s Finest Hour MIDNIGHT release party!! Comics, Cosplay, Iron Boxes. You gotta come out for this one!

After a three month kick in the nuts from the LA Health Department, we were finally able to get them to inspect our new truck and get back on the road today. These have been the most difficult three months of my life.

I have received an endless stream of emails in the last three months from legions of concerned Meatheads…

“Where’s the beef (and lamb)?”

“What happened to you guys?”

“I stopped by your house last night and heard you weeping through the door…”

Your emails served as a constant reminder that making it back out was worth all the pain… It has been difficult to bear so much disappointment and distress from our devoted fans. Thank you all so much for sticking with us, and keeping our dream alive! We are sorry to make you all wait so long for your 12″ Fix.
